Word of the Week - HOT MESS

Meet Adrienne from 035

On my last store visit to 035 Adrienne kept using the phrase "Hot Mess". She referred to a customers style as a "Hot Mess", the 41 boxes of freight we received as a "Hot Mess", the last boy that took her dinner as a "Hot Mess" and last but not least my selling techniques as a "Hot Mess".

How we became the Sixty-Six Sicks...

A few years back the Utah area was split into 2 districts, the North SLC district and the South SLC / Vegas district. I was newly promoted and excited to step into a DM role.

Jeff Clem thought it would be funny to give my district the numeric code 666 for a few reasons. 1) The district is based out of SLC -no further explaination needed, and 2) I am LDS - again, no further explaination needed.

Jeff Clem is a funny guy - but we embraced the code and altered it to our liking. We are now know as the Sixty-Six Sicks District... and will forever be the most dominating group of stores in the history of Zumiez!!
